Yellow Mellow in London ^

London Architecture

There were the buildings that I knew about, either from past history or taking the time to read up on in books and online. Almost all of them felt different in person from what I expected. Buildings like Lloyd's building and the Gherkin seemed a lot smaller than I anticipated. Others like The Fenchurch Building (The Walkie-Talkie) seemed to have a different shape when I was looking straight up under it.

The consistent element of all these buildings was a lack of uniformity. They all had a way of saying something unique. On the stroll it was delightful to find a recognizable building in a new light in person.
